Souleymane Karambe
Senior supervisor of the research support office in Mali
Mr. Souleymane Karambe graduated from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), specializing in Legal Sciences. To gain experience after his graduation from ENA in 1986, Mr. Karambe interned in several police stations, courts in the Bamako District, the Court of Appeal, the Criminal Court, the Special Court of State Security and the Supreme Court.
Mr. Karambe has been with the International Center for Excellence in Research in Mali (ICER Mali) for over thirty-five (35) years. He holds the position of Senior Supervisor in the research support team. His tasks as Principal Supervisor include administrative management, monitoring of monthly budgets allocated to research activities, logistics, tracking of shipments of consumables and laboratory equipment, and supervision of the support staff.
He also supervises the implementation of all maintenance and repair work on ICER Mali’s electrical equipment: generators, air conditioners, water towers and other equipment.
He is also responsible for the smooth running of the clinical sites.
