Sidy Soumare is a Network and Systems engineer with a Master’s degree in computer engineering obtained at CEFID and SupMangement in 2004, Bamako. He is a holder of several certifications such as Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, NetApp VCP, and ITIL (F).
Soumare is currently the lead engineer managing the remote sites of NIH/NIAID in Mali. For 20 years, he has been designing and administrating Cisco/Meraki, Microsoft and VMware enterprise environments and NetApp storage filers. He is also a technical resource for multiple network upgrades and migrations; proven knowledge of implementing, deploying and administrating secure environment.
Overall, Soumare has experience in network engineering, network operations and design, servers’ management and troubleshooting, data center, routing, switching, VSAT link management, team leadership, personnel management, customer service, and contract/client relations.
