Sidy Soumare is a Network and Systems engineer with a Master’s degree in computer engineering obtained at CEFID and SupManagement in 2004 in Bamako. He holds several certifications such as Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, NetApp VCP, and ITIL (F).
Sidy Soumare is currently the lead engineer managing the remote sites of NIH/NIAID in Mali. For the past 20 years, he has been designing and administrating Cisco/Meraki, Microsoft and VMware enterprise environments and NetApp storage filers. He is also a technical resource for multiple network upgrades and migrations; he has proven knowledge of implementing, deploying and administrating secure environment.
His overall experience and skills include network engineering, network operations and design, servers’ management and troubleshooting, data center, routing, switching, VSAT link management, team leadership, personnel management, customer service, and contract/client relations.
